FOR SALE: 1967 Sunbeam Alpine Series V.

Health issues force reluctant sale of this USA located car.  In 1998-99 she underwent a major restoration. The motor was completely rebuilt.  The transmission and overdrive were imported from England having been rebuilt by specialist John Roseby. The entire front end suspension was completely renewed with powder coated members and all fittings. NOS differential installed. Rust? Two small bubbles, both of which are unchanged since purchased I purchased it in 1996.

Interior fitted with Martha Wheat restored seats.  New carpet kit partially installed.  Robbins top installed a few years ago.  Totally straight original.  Always garaged.  Mileage unverified but estimate about 20,000 during my ownership.  This car is located near Seattle, Washington State, USA.  I can assist with shipping preparation.

Here is the deal:  hagerty.com value estimate in "good" condition is $14,100 USD (11,100 GBP).  I'm 78 and status post stroke and must sell, soon.  Any reasonable offer around 8,000 GBP sought.

Any offer considered provided you love the Alpine.

FOR SALE

I bought a barn find S1 Sunbeam Alpine a couple of months ago from Mathewsons, was hoping to restore and get running this summer

Unfortunately the Sill and Outrigger has gone on one side and suspect on the other. Been advised it could be flexing so it would need to be jigged and then the sills fabricated etc...

There is also rust in the cylinders and valve seats so the engine needs rebuilding (photos available)

This car has come a little too early in my classic journey, my mechanical skills are limited which means the costs will be stratospheric

Anyone good at welding / rebuilding engines and wants to take this project on?

Definitely not braking up and selling for parts

If no one wants to take it on I will garage and start my welding / engine rebuilding journey (will turn into a 10 year project)

Photo from Mathewsons, after a wash and clean and then the horror of the outrigger.
