I now have a company able to make replacement rear ‘hockey
stick’ trims. The price per pair would be £495 GBP.
This price is based on 10 sets. Any sets ordered after these
10 would command a further ‘1 off’ premium. Obviously
any onward delivery would be extra.
The trims would be pressed using a purpose made mould proved
first in Aluminium before being pressed in stainless steel. The
mounting studs would be welded* on and the final product polished.
Note*
The material thickness would be 1.5mm rather than the original
thickness 0.9mm (equivalent to an old swg thickness). This is
to ensure a secure welded stud fixing without distorting the
sheet material. (I suspect stud fixing failure may be a reason
some cars have lost the trim!).
So time to decide…
Full payment would be required once the press mould have been
proven please.
